Trials!

Were.. ok. I think.

Basically did warm-ups with the trackers (I am so not used to doing them. Damnnn unnatural. ><). Then Vincent Quek came and asked me go to one side. Striding drills, high knees, the works. And reflex drills. I totally screwed these up. From sitting position then get up and sprint. I tripped over the soles of the spikes lols. But I think it went well. He suaned my height lol. Tell me to jump and touch the netball net. I did though lols.

Afterwards he was like trying to get me to agree to join a UG. I was like, no way. My parents also dun wan me join UG >_> So he's like, ok let me go back and consider. Come back on Wednesday. That's half the battle won! AND DON'T RAIN ON MY PARADE :)

Today. Was stupid.

Didn't do much in school; English, Chem, Philo, SS.

After school... was a different story.

Went with Benn and Cal to Swensen's, where Jasdeep and Wen Zheng gatecrashed >< no i don't mean it that way. Benn is damn nice la, treated all of us. Damn full, so went back to school.

And watched the individual judo competition! I saw Yi-Min there. She is some uber dedicated judoka la.. wish I had the perseverance to be like her... in rugby. Keep it up yea :)

And then... everything went wrong. Read my previous post if you wanna know more. I need to talk to someone... but not Jasdeep. Nor any of my classmates.

Stop bitching about me. I'm not worth your time.

Really really sad.

Haiz. I don't know what's happening with my life la.

First I played hockey. Then I tried a volley (which wasn't all that bad) and God had to let it hit Ewan's hand, before rebounding onto Jasdeep's face. His eyebrow area started swelling, and he was on the ground and everything. I honestly didn't mean it... but now Jasdeep is really pissed off. And I mean REALLY pissed off. I tried apologizing but he just told me to @#$% off. I'm not lying, I really didn't mean it. Forgive me?

Then I rammed the soccer ball... into Jia Rong's face. Totally whacked off his specs and gave him a large bruise and a not so large cut. Luckily he wasn't as bad as Jasdeep, but I really felt bad about it, what with having already injured one person.

I'm feeling damn wretched. So please don't continue being pissed about it, please? I didn't expect that to happen...

What's more, the freaking taxi uncle had to scam me of my cash by taking a FREAKING LONG roundabout route home. Hais. And to think that before this I was damn happy because Benn treated us to Swensen's.

I think I screwed up T_T damn sad now.

I totally messed up one of the scales. But the others were OK, I guess.

Pieces. First one wasn't very good, stumbled what, 3 times? But second and third went without much of a problem. Sight-reading was quite easy, but aural was a nightmare.

Singing from memory was screwed up. I was trying to discern the lower part, but somehow I kept singing the upper part. The examiner was really really frustrated, kept on trying to find ways to give me a chance but I couldn't do it T_T really wasted. Sight singing not bad, cadences a bit problem, but the last part was great. Really easy piece for me to talk about =) Hopefully I got a good merit. Distinction is outta my reach, I think. Damn.

3tand3c. finally.

Finally played a couple of games. We did OK, I guess. Wasn't as easy as we had worked it out to be.

3T hardly tested me T_T They were playing a defensive game, launching only sporadic assaults on our goalmouth. We dominated the match, with many shots that Teng Chuan did superbly to keep out. It's a shame it ended at 0-0. Could have been in our favor. Michael was running around the whole of the defensive third, providing solid cover, and clearing the ball. Only one block from Alvin for me. But I guess it was a respectable scoreline between the 1st and 2nd seeds.

3C was another matter. The first half, we played Leeni in goal, because he had to go for training after that. So for the first 7 minutes, nothing much happened. Plenty of possession, but no real point or penetration to it. Then I was subbed on for Han Bin. First throw we got, I took it. Anybody wondering what came out of it? Jasdeep knocked it into the bottom corner of the net! (There wasn't a net, by the way) And from then on the floodgates opened. We were running their defense ragged. And on a fast counterattack we had Jasdeep on the right, Wen Zheng in the center, and me on the left. Jasdeep brought the ball up, laid it off for Wen Zheng, and he then smashed a half-volley into the goal. 2-0 up at halftime. During the second half, I went into goal, but there really wasn't any point to it. Just had to clear up some loose balls... and Kevin scored his first! Nice dribbling by Josie, rounded some guy, Han Bin picked up the ball, tried to shoot. Someone blocked him, so he laid if off for Kevin who saw an opening and lashing it into the bottom right past Chia's outstretched leg. 3-0 full time.

And after that there were no more matches! But, we were top of the table, having 2 wins and 1 draw. 3M 2 wins and 1 loss, 3T 1 win and 2 draws. It feels nice, but this is just the start of the season. 3 matches have gone by, so there's plenty more time to fend off other title-contenders. Go 3ASoccer!

How weird. 1 save in 1 and a half clean sheets XD gotta calm down more. And practice my full-body dives. Still a bit hesitant.

Saw Vincent Quek before our matches started; so asked him if I could transfer to Track. He was like, 12.8 is quite slow for a non-trained athlete. I was like, WTF? I can run almost as fast as Wzy, and HE's a trained athlete. Then he totally suaned Wzy la: "He was posted to me, so I can't do anything about it. ._>" But honestly. Then he said Cal was "quite fast" for a non-trained athlete. Screw la, Cal's not 'quite fast'. I'd like to see you running faster than him. So I was like dam sad, because if I don't go track I have to go NPCC, which is plain stupid. So he gave me a trial, on Monday. Hmm. Gonna try my best ba.

Never mind, talk about soccer =) 3D gave us a walkover ._. cos they no enough players. I was ref, so I'm gonna talk about my first match in black and white ._> Wasn't really eventful, except for 3 goals in total, and a red card. Through my hand. Wang Kwan was really riled up, so we were cautioning him. Then he got really really pissed off, so I no choice but to yellow card him. Then he was like "Yellow card la, so what?!" And he pushed me. So red card lo. No choice >< But Wen Zheng was like, "David taking out yellow card then Wang Kwan push him so he put it back and showed him red." Lols! Other matches not much happened. And then... the skies split. Literally. It was raining elephants and rhinoceroses. Haha. So everything kena postponed. Including match of the season, 3a vs 3t. Darn.

We played in the rain! Or at least, we played like kids in the rain. Benn was sorta humping the ground in this freaking large pool of water. He looked like he swimming lols. Then the supposedly "MATURE" guys, compared to supposedly me, were kicking water at each other T_T how stupid can you get. Damn tired lols. So I went home, after everyone else had left T_ how stupid can you get? Tomorrow, 3a vs 3t, 3c, 3j. We gonna pwn. <-- Our motto :D

Track and Field! Again!

OMG FINALS. First year in 100m finals muahaha. I worked damn hard coming up to this event sia... and hopefully it paid off =)

Assembled at Bishan Stadium, registered, Athlete's Parade/Pledge blahblahblah. Then the 100m finals!!! Drowning in nervousness >< Cal suan. He say he never feel nervous at all. Then he blame Chern Hwee. XD

But Hullett was a different matter. As long as I started off faster than Jian Wei, I knew I could win. xD And luckily for us, even though Jordan screwed up the baton passing (omg), Jia Xing's pass wasn't that bad, and Manfred ran slowly 8D So burn again. And get 4th ><

4x400m: I really wanna thank the guys who did this: Jia Rong, Wendy, Jordan and Stephen. You guys gave your all, and I'm sure the whole of Moor House appreciated it :) Special commendation to Stephen, sprinting the whole lap, and to the rest for never giving up and burning (get it? ><) as long as you could last. Jia Rong, Wen Zheng, you guys knew you couldn't run as fast as the other houses, but you guys still tried your best :D Moor house FTW! Even though we got 4th XD

Cheering was a total letdown. We were supposedly the best house in interhouse cheer comp. And Bayley beat us. Haiz. Couldn't blame the Moorians; they tried their best I guess. Moor We Want More.

As the title says. My parents are too fucked up for words, but I'll try to do it.

We're eating macaroni for dinner, so I take a bit of soup, because I don't wanna become bloated, right? So my mum gives me a mushroom and more soup. I tell her I don't want that much soup, she ignores me. Then I look pissed off, and she yells at me, takes away the mushroom and soup.

Then I was like why did you take away the mushroom? *Dao* I told you I don't want any more soup!

"You shout at me somemore!" (My mum is fucked up, see?)

Then we argue, and she says I didn't take any soup. Which is shit. Because I did, and she knew it.

And all my dad does is tell me not to argue, which makes him fucked up too, because he told me not to use logic. He always sides with my mum. Even when I'm correct.

But who gives a fuck? My mum won't see logic even if it hit her with a truck. Fuck la. Then she tells me she won't ever cook for me again. Like I give a damn, don't cook lor.

More Holidays

Another free week =)

Yesterday was Community Day; went to buy cloth for Moor house banner. Took me 6 hours >< Stupid sewing people never open. I waited from 8 to bloody 11. Then I went to another sewing shop T_T

Then ate lunch at Ya Kun! Damn nice la. School to paint the banner. We finished it F5 in like. 5 hours only! OhMyGosh speeeeedy. Soccer abit; I scored 2 =) Next Tuesday and Wednesday are our first 4 matches...

Monday is Track and Field finals... I'm a bit nervous. But hopefully I won't screw up =\

Tuesday and Wednesday, 3D 3T 3C and 3B. COME ON 3ASOCCER. I'm not gonna let a single goal past me. *Determined expression*

I am so damn tired! I practically stoned throughout my piano practice today lols. Kept playing the same song until my mom asked me why I was doing only one song ><

And now I can play Xbox!!! But I'm freaking tired... so maybe tomorrow haha. School's starting on Monday damnit. But we have a freaking extra week of rest. But ohnoohnoohno T&F Finals are here >< I'm running 3 freaking events... So gonna die. For the relays. But 12.8 for 100m FTW!

First soccer match on Tuesday... against 3D LOL. Adi, Tey Guan, Ben Mak, Russel Wong lol! We gonna have a pwnage time. =)

The Spiderwick Chronicles

is just like any other fantasy/boy-hero movie you've ever watched. Let's just say it's a cross between Harry Potter, and Narnia (do NOT pun).

Went to watch with Deep, Cal, Roy and Zydney >< At Shaw wtf 8 bucks one ticket. GV would've been cheaper. I think. Cos I'm a member!

But anyway... here's what's it all about:

Guy named Arthur Spiderwick finds all about faerie-folk. Writes this huge guide on them... and then discovers that the Ogre Mulgarath wants the information to pwn all the other faeries and own the world. So he hides it in a protective circle in his house... but is taken away by silfs who want to protect the knowledge. Daughter blabs that Daddy was taken away by Goblins, therefore locked up in a mad asylum. But it's true!

80 years later... kid named Jared Grace and family moves into new home. He is damn damn pissed off that he had to leave New York, but he's the one who finds out about the book and opens it, causing Mulgarath to realize that it has been opened again. So he goes on this quest to find a way to smack the ogre's ass. And he succeeds! But you'll have to find out how he succeeds by yourself. I'm not gonna spoil your fun =)

Most cliched scene: Mulgarath turns into Jared's dad... and tries to con the papers from Jared. Then Jared asks him a question, sort of like the Harry Potter thingie. "Dad" answers wrongly, so Jared stabs him! Cool or what!

Stupidest ending: Mulgarath turns into a crow to catch the falling papers... and flies away. Only to be caught by the bird-eating faerie Hogsqueal. Lols.

Most touching scene(s): Where daughter is finally reunited with daddy! And they go away to live with the silfs. And, when Jared's mother apologizes to him for being such a jerk. (She used to sound like my mom).

But really, go and watch it! It's really ok, for a movie. =)

Lenten Vigil!

Was mainly sian.

But there were um... interesting parts too. Like the part where they screened the M18 Passion of the Christ for us 14 and 15 year olds to watch. The part where Jesus carries the cross, all the way till after he gets nailed onto it. I closed my eyes. There's a good reason why it's rated M18 for horror and gore. Gore mainly.

And the Sedar meal was interesting too. Boiled potatoes with salt, anyone? Lols and Fran and Herman(ette) were bitching about. A lot. =)

Prayer and Worship was really stupid at first, because they had some dumb actions, but after the actions got lost, it wasn't that bad. And I might be joining the Youth Music Ministry! =D How fun. There was this supposedly interesting talk about the cross and how to live our lives, but the speaker was quite boring (no offense). I lost myself partway through the thing about Internalization. XP

After that we had... a break! Seriously! And then we went back to... watch PotC. In all its gory glory. (Lol!) And then... supper! Rose syrup rocks.

A bit more P&W, and then we went to wash our friend's feet. In a bid to if I'm not wrong, reconcile with our relations. O_o But it was OK la. The water was cold, whee.

And then the Sedar meal! I can't really remember the symbolism, but I'll try. Boiled potatoes: Humility, humanity, labor and normality(?). Bitter herbs in salt: Bitterness of Israelites' lives under Egyptians, and the tears and sweat they shed(?). Unleavened bread: Story goes, Israelites needed to run away quickly, so no time to wait for yeast to rise. Therefore, no proper bread! And the others... I'm so sorry, I can't quite remember >< Rose syrup used to replace wine haha!

We rested a while more... then we went to dawn mass. And I nodded off what, 3 times? T_T But it was over quick enough, and here I am at home posting! =) Was it a fun night or what?

P.S. What ministry should I join?!

Holidays are here!!!

But so what?

Let's count off what I'm gonna be doing over the hols on one hand:
1: Do tons of holiday homework, set by both retarded teachers and parents.
2: Train for the track and field finals!!! IN 2 WEEKS. 12.8s!!!
3: Practice like, 3 hours of piano a day. In prep for my PIANO EXAMINATION. IN 3 WEEKS. Distinction!!!
4: Play computer games and Xbox (when I'm not training/doing homework/practising piano).
5: Go to school to play soccer with other 3A'08ers? FIRST MATCH IS NEXT THURSDAY OMG.
AND: HOPEFULLY, get a couple of friends to go see Step Up 2!!! (Hopefully.)

See how lifeless I am? I bet nobody can beat this la. Okay, maybe Cal -- he doesn't have an Xbox, he doesn't have a stadium near his house, he doesn't have piano prac. Maybe that's why he's coming over to my house tomorrow to train lols!

Someone suggest something for me to do; I don't want my headstone to read: Here lies someone who did stuff that could be counted on one hand.

What's on this Day

Sian. Nothing happened. I mean nothing. Really!

I went to school late haha, stupid bus always comes at the wrong times. But when I reached school Mr. Law was like berating the Sec 3s. Because people's stuff have been going missing ><

Lessons... were freaking boring. Oh we got our SHIRTS TODAY. When Mike sends me the pictures I shall post them up! After school, played soccer loh. Nothing else to do. I made some damn nice saves. Top corner! But there was this one incident...

They just scored, I was scolding my defense. So some Sec 1 went to imitate me. Wrong time, wrong place: I just got freaking pissed. So like I went to tackle him. Rugby-style. Sorry Vishaal and bro. Really didn't know what got over me ._>

Then my defense was like, "David, calm down. Take your anger out on the ball lols." It was a goal kick la. So I just rammed it downfield. And it went in Zomg. <3 Long shots for the win. I really must learn how to control myself. Grr.

Played for damn long, then watched RI whack YuYing in softball. And then played more soccer. And then I went home! My life is damn boring, it's like a Social Studies class ._. I HATE the shrubs next to the Astroturf. Every time I go get the ball they sure scratch me. Make me look like I slash my thighs. ><

Anybody want to watch Step Up 2 during the holidays? =) Leave a notice on the tagboard; I need to book the tickets. I'm a new GV Member!

Muscle Aches

T-T The title says it all. My ankle's better, but my back and thighs are aching. Like siao.

Lol I train so hardcore yesterday... now so pain haha. Remember something on someone's blog: Muscle aches are just your muscles getting stronger. (CORRECTION: Muscle aches are weaknesses leaving your body haha. Ty Chern Hwee.) If I remember correctly. I hope I do x)

Anyway. Today was freaking boring. Math TA first thing in the morning o_O Solutions to Graphical Equations. I think I did quite well. I hope I got full marks. >< That would help my marks a lot. And then Bio was horribly... horrifying. I don't want to get cancer. Rawr. I'm gonna live to the ripe old age of at least 90. Lols. We have a damn pro Physics teacher now!! I mean, he's new, yes, but he has this brownie (o_o) point system, where if we get 10... we get a brownie! I'm not joking; he's going to treat anyone who gets 10 BPs to Cafe Cartel. Hahas. But if we get -10... we have to let him slack for one lesson. And we teach. Lols.

Reached home in record time today: 4.30!!! Reached school in record time too lol. In terms of lateness. Anybody want to train with me at RJC/Bishan/Tampines stadium(s) tomorrow? I need spikes too haha.

15 years old already... life goes by damn fast, yea? Very soon you'll be in JC, then Uni, and finally out to the world. Have fun while you can. It's gonna be very hectic soon =)

On a not so small sidenote: There's still something wrong with my ankle. I don't want a stress fracture! Lols.

And there's one more problem. I increased my stride length, but how to I keep up my stride pace? Hmm. Tell me, someone!

Injured

How stupid. I got myself injured damnit.

I was having PE when it rained, so we went to the gym ya, and I think I overexerted myself. Now my left thigh aches. And then (this is the good part), I was playing soccer. And I tried a bicycle kick. Now, that's perfectly fine. The problem is, Jasdeep backed into me, causing me to lose my balance =) And I fell on my ankle. All 59.5kgs of ME. Onto my sad sorry ankle. Owch.

And now it's PAIN. PAIN. I'm gonna ice it throughout the night =) And my bed's gonna be damn wet, but who cares. I want it to heal!!! I MUST BREAK 12.8S FOR MY 100M FINALS GRR.

There's this damn magical ointment which I'm using (it's TCM lol). Spray it on, rub it in, next day it's much better. Hopefully it works again. ^^
